The prosecutor's office sent a court of indictment against a 46-year-old woman - babysitting a girl with cerebral palsy.
This was reported in the press service of the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office.
According to the head of the local prosecutor's office Ekaterina Shevtsova, a woman was previously informed of a suspicion of intentional light bodily harm (h. 1 st. 125 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) to an infant.
However, during the investigation, evidence was collected that gave grounds for changing the suspicion - the woman's actions were re-qualified for hours. 1 st. 127 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (torture).
Recall that in March of this year, law enforcement officers turned to the mother of a 14-year-old girl - a disabled child with cerebral palsy. She complained that the nanny of a girl brings her child to beatings, as evidence showed a video recording. The woman said she found bruises on her body and numerous injuries. After that, I installed a DVR in the apartment.
The camera recorded how the nanny beat the child when they were alone.
The maximum sanction of the article provides for 5 years imprisonment.
