Saturated weekend for employees of Kharkiv Customs GFS. First, a Russian citizen at the checkpoint "Pletenevka" at the entrance to Ukraine, tried to hold a knife with signs of cold steel without permits. With respect to the offender, a protocol was drawn up on the violation of customs rules under Article 472 of the Customs Code of Ukraine.

Then, at the checkpoint "Kharkov-passenger", during the customs control of the train, the message "Kharkov-Moscow", without signs of concealment, was found the Order of the Patriotic War II degree and 5 medals that the Russian citizen carried among personal belongings, did not declare due way and did not provide the relevant documents on the right of ownership. With respect to the offender, a protocol was drawn up on the violation of customs rules under Article 472 of the Customs Code of Ukraine.

The "highlight" of the offenses was the identification of customs officers at the checkpoint "Goptovka" of a Ukrainian citizen who tried to smuggle 25 000 euros, hiding the currency in his socks.

During the oral declaration, the person who crossed the border on foot from Russia to Ukraine stated that there were no items prohibited or restricted to move, but during the inspection of his personal belongings he admitted that he was hiding the currency in his socks.

With respect to the offender, a protocol was drawn up on the violation of customs regulations in accordance with Part 1 of Article 483 of the Customs Code of Ukraine.
