As of April 22, 2018, the Donetsk filtering station resumed its work, by the evening the centralized water supply will be restored. This was reported on Facebook by the head of Donetsk regional military-civil administration Pavel Zhebrivsky.

"In the morning, DFS workers went to work, accompanied by observers, and started installing equipment.

As the operational services tell me, as of now they have already started the pumps and fill the tanks with DFS. After that, the water will be pumped to Avdeevka - in the evening the centralized water supply to the city should be restored, "noted Zhebrivsky.

Earlier it was reported that the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission would establish an observation point near the Donetsk filtering station. This item will be monitored daily from 09:00 to 16:00. Before that, it became known that the ATU headquarters provided security guarantees to DFS personnel.
