The resident of the Kiev district police found ammunition. To verify information, criminal proceedings were opened. This was reported in the press service of the regional police department.

During the apartment's searches, the man seized 27 different-caliber cartridges, 2 assault rifles, machine gun tape and a mortar fuse.

Information on the incident was entered in the Single Register of Pre-trial Investigations under Article 263 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (illegal handling of weapons, ammunition or explosives). The sanction of the article provides for up to seven years behind bars.
