In Nikolayev, the former head of the Mykolayiv regional customs office, Artur Polyakov, disappeared.

A source in the prosecutor's office told this, Novosti-N reported.

It is noted that the loss was first reported in the GU of the National Police of Ukraine in the Mykolayiv region, after which the media managed to find out the details of the case.

The wife of the missing person filed an application with the police, who told that Polyakov left the house on Sevastopolskaya street on the Toyota car on April 3 - he had an appointment with a man who was going to return a loan of a large amount of money in foreign currency.

After that, the ex-head of the Nikolayev Customs did not return and stopped answering calls.

On the fact of the incident, a criminal case was opened on the article about the deliberate murder, Polyakov was officially put on the wanted list.

It is worth noting that the total work experience of Polyakov in the customs authorities - more than 22 years. He was deputy head of the Yagodin customs at the Polish border, the head of the Zaporozhye customs, and in 2010-2014 he headed the Mykolaiv regional customs.
