The detained was the assistant to the judge of the Economic Court of Chernivtsi region. The operation to arrest him was conducted during the receipt of a bribe by a man of $ 1.2 thousand dollars, for which he promised to close the administrative violations of traffic rules. The man managed to get only a part of the amount in one of the cafes in the center of Chernivtsi.
Now the police also checks directly the head of the Economic Court of the Chernivtsi region, he is also suspected of involvement in the organization of the corruption scheme. Recently a similar incident occurred in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
They detained the head of the police station and the acting deputy chairman of one of the district state administrations in the region.
