According to preliminary information, a group of people used unknown software and devices to gain access to the service socket, where they launched a malicious virus that changes numbers in an ATM to six digits and gives out money without a discount card. Most of the region's ATMs have installed special equipment that tracked one of the attackers who stole UAH 200,000.

Employees of the criminal police of the region were able to identify individuals who engaged in "easy money", but they could not reach the trail of criminals for three months. Scammers used fake documents and constantly changed the place of residence and rent.

In cyberpolicy, they could not give an exact answer, that scammers used technology, but with such devices and methods of theft they first encountered.
