In the Venetian small canals, the water level dropped so much that it became impossible to swim over them.

It is noted that the water level dropped 60 cm below the norm. Shallowing of canals is associated with low tides and a lack of rain. This problem complicated the communication between the districts of the city.

The municipal services of the city try to eliminate the problem through the use of artificial water inflow, but while it is not enough to fill the channels.

For the second year in a row, the Venetian canals have remained without water, although several times a year they suffer from severe flooding.
