On the night of February 1 in Lutsk on Galitsky Street, the patrol crew noticed a man on the bridge across the Styr River, which stood behind the railing. Thanks to prompt actions, law enforcement officers managed to intercept a potential suicide, as described in the Facebook-group of the local police.

"The girl was already standing behind the railing of the bridge and, apparently, she intended to commit suicide," said the inspector of the patrol police Volyn Alexander.

According to him, the patrolmen, without losing a second, ran out of the car and with the help of a partial citizen quickly dragged the woman back, preventing her from jumping off.

"A 25-year-old citizen was brought to life and reassured. She had signs of alcoholic intoxication. She said that she wanted to end her life because of a quarrel with a young man, "- explained the patrol.

The girl was taken to a psychiatric hospital.
