Police of the country detained five passengers on suspicion of importing drugs. Two of them are British, two are Spanish and one is Italian.
A representative of the border service said that officers searched the plane and found drugs in 15 suitcases, each had 34 to 37 packets weighing about a kilogram each.
The plane arrived from the Colombian capital of Bogota.
At the same time, the cost of the detected drug, according to preliminary estimates, is about 50 million pounds sterling or about 70.6 million dollars. Members of the aircraft crew were interrogated and released without charge.
