Three people died instantly, five more were injured of varying severity. This was reported by the press service of the regional police.
As noted, the accident occurred early in the morning on Friday near the village of Novoandreevka in the Crimea.
According to law enforcers, because of non-compliance with the high-speed regime, the driver of the foreign car KIA Cerato on a slippery road failed to manage and drove to the oncoming lane where he collided with a Volkswagen LT minibus.
"KIA Cerato was installed worn-out summer tires, and the speedometer at the time of the collision recorded a speed of 100 km / h," - said the police.
At the same time, the Ministry of Emergency Situations stressed that the bodies of road accident participants came to get from the remaining parts of the vehicle. Since, as a result of the collision, the passenger car broke into two parts.
