As a result of the incident, all the tourists remained alive and were able to independently reach the recreation center "Zaroslyak", the climbers got off with a light fright. The authorities of the region warned tourists and skiers about the fourth level of avalanche danger (high avalanche danger), as a result of snowfall dropped from 30-50 cm of fresh snow.
A large avalanche was recorded today in the vicinity of Mount Pop Ivan, and therefore in the near future it is worth refraining from skiing or mountain travel.
In addition, there is a threat of landslides of snow massifs on the roads - so drivers who plan trips to the mountains should be as cautious as possible.
As reported in the "URA-Inform", earlier the State Service for Emergency Situations warned that in the Carpathians there is a significant avalanche danger.
