As of morning, January 20, in three regions of the country there are complications with the slave of electric networks, namely: Odessa - 298, Cherkassy - 76, Chernigov - 16. As a result of sharp deterioration of weather conditions remote regional settlements were deprived of illumination, because of the large amount of precipitation, many trees were felled.

The most difficult was the city of Izmail and Vilkovo, here without electricity there are more than half of the houses.

At the moment, brigades of oblenergos have been involved in repair work.

Earlier, with the authorities of the neighboring Mykolayiv region from 10:00 am, January 19, 2018, any speed limits for traffic from cars and trucks were temporarily lifted. Such measures were taken in view of the significant deterioration of weather conditions and precipitation of anomalous rainfall for the region.
