According to eyewitnesses. The accident occurred at the Gostomel highway. The 46-year-old driver of the Hyundai car was driving from the city of Irpen. Apparently, he lost control and at full speed flew off the road.

He came to the aid of drivers who were moving at that moment along the highway. However, as soon as the driver got out of the car and began to provide first aid, he died. In the car there was also a teenage girl.

She suffered a fracture of her leg and a head injury. Ambulance took her to the hospital. However, she managed to report that the driver of Hyundai was in alcoholic intoxication.
