The girl suffered a leg injury, lacerated wounds of her hands and could not move by herself. As the press service of the State Emergency Service, rescuers called her colleague, who saw how the girl was falling.

According to him, the two of them went on a tourist route in the vicinity of the mountain valley of Rogneska. 29-year-old woman from Kiev could not resist on the icy slope and fell. The man did not lose his head, went down to the victim and, before the arrival of specialists, was near her.

Arriving at the scene of the incident rescuers provided her medical assistance, but because of the onset of darkness and the danger of avalanches, decided to wait until dawn.

Already on Wednesday morning, bypassing the avalanche areas, using special stretchers "drag", rescuers began transportation of the injured. Now the girl is in the hospital.

Recall, as reported URA-Inform, in the Carpathians over the past few days recorded the descent of three avalanches. Meteorological avalanche station Pay in the Transcarpathian region marked the descent of 7 and 8 January of two wet avalanches from Mount Temnatic. Their volumes were 20 and 18 thousand cubic meters each.

On January 9, a wet avalanche was found from the eastern slope of Mount Goverla with a volume of 1.2 thousand cubic meters. This avalanche also did not inflict losses.
