So, Ahmadinejad was detained in the city of Shiraz, when he criticized the incumbent head of state Ruhani. He is accused of deliberately inciting protesters who recently flooded the streets throughout the country with demonstrations against the authoritarian rule of the ayatollahs and the conservative administration of the country by the ruling political elites.

"Some current leaders live apart from the problems of people and do not know anything about the realities of society," said the former president of Iran.

It is noteworthy that the previous major protests in Iran in 2009 were connected with the re-election of Ahmadinejad. Also, the ex-president at one time, banned Twitter in the country, and then he himself started an account in it.

As reported in the "URA-Inform", in Iran as a result of mass protests against the power of Ayatollah Khamenei killed 20 people.
