According to her, the deceased disappeared on December 23 during the ascent to the Khomyak Mountain.

"He decided to climb alone to the top of the mountain, whose height is 1542 meters, at night. It turned out that the guy froze to death, "- said Beldik.

At the moment, the body of the guy has already identified relatives, thereby confirming his identity. In particular, the 19-year-old tourist turned out to be an entrepreneur from Ivano-Frankivsk in 1998.

On this fact, law enforcement officers opened criminal proceedings.

By the way, Mount Khomyak is located in the southeastern part of the Ukrainian Carpathians. It is one of the most popular tourist routes, despite the fact that the area near the mountain is considered to be an avalanche site.
