The Shevchenkovsky police department of the Primorsky department received a notification tonight about the damage to the monument to the "Ruined Mountains of the ATU". Unknown in balaclavas doused the monument with red paint and disappeared. At the moment Odessa law enforcers establish all the circumstances of the incident, check out the surveillance cameras, local car parks and shops, conduct an opinion poll.

In Odessa, this is not the first time that unknown vandals corrupt historically monuments. Previously, intruders damaged the stand with photos of the dead heroes of "Heavenly Hundreds". Law enforcers do not exclude the possibility that all these crimes can be committed by the same people. They are charged with Article 298 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

As reported in the "URA-Inform", recently in Kiev on Maydan destroyed the monument to Heavenly Hundred.
