As a result of the exit of the Latoritsa River and a rise in the water level by one and a half meter, 50 settlements were de-energized. At the moment, Ukroblenergo employees are involved in the work and restoration of electricity supply lines. Floods flooded and Transcarpathia, five villages remain without light and heat. Automobile communication with residents of the succession of villages is impossible because of a record rise in the water level in Latoritsa.

As a result of the impact of the elements, many agricultural lands were damaged. Weather forecasters predict such climatic changes with a sharp warming, which led to the melting of wet snow in the mountainous regions of Transcarpathia. At the moment, several bridges have been damaged in the region.
