Police officers found that employees of one of the district forestry enterprises, on the eve of the holidays, organized unauthorized felling of trees and their further sale.

To the trees they added self-adhesive labels, which, in the case of verification, had to confirm the legal origin of the trees.

It is noted that the chief forester of the regional forestry, the forester and the forest master of several forest districts are involved in this.

Attackers were detained during the sale of another party of Christmas trees. They received 15 thousand hryvnia bribes for "permission" to cut down coniferous trees and their further removal.

As previously reported in the "URA-Inform", a policeman in the Kiev region demanded 123 thousand hryvnia bribes. Thus, in the Kyiv region the investigator of one of the regional departments of the National Police was detained on a bribe.
