A number of Russian media reported that the border guards of the Crimean department of the Russian Federal Security Service detained two Ukrainian citizens at the administrative border between the mainland Ukraine and the annexed peninsula. One of the detainees allegedly was in federal (Russian) search, the other is a member of a criminal case on illegal acquisition, possession, transportation, manufacture, processing of narcotic drugs committed on a large scale.

The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine stated that it is impossible to identify detained citizens of Ukraine, as Ukrainian border guards do not support "contacts with the occupiers". This is in the commentary of Crimea. Realities were told by the Speaker of the State Border Service Oleg Slobodyan.

"They (Russian border guards) do not inform us about what is happening on the temporarily occupied peninsula. From information in the media about who is talking about and whether these facts were in fact, it is difficult to understand, since no personal data are indicated. Identify these people is impossible, "- said the speaker.
