21-year-old Joseph Nelk died for natural reasons, not related to military activities.
This was reported in the Department of the Navy of New York, commenting on the death of the US military in Lviv.
The investigation of the incident continues.
The department told that Nelk was one of 200 military men who went to Yavorivsky training ground for joint training with their Ukrainian counterparts.
They arrived in the Lviv region on November 22.
Nelk was enlisted in the National Guard in March 2015 after being trained. In early 2016, he completed his individual training and was appointed scout. The military was awarded medals.
Earlier it was reported that on Sunday, December 10, a 21-year-old American soldier died in a shop in Lviv.
Later it became known that the military died allegedly because of a heart attack.
