As a result, the loss of a huge amount of wet snow, the water level in local water bodies and rivers rose by one to two meters, 13 basements of residential buildings and households in five districts of the region (Perechynsky-five, Uzhgorod-three, Uzhgorod-five, Svaliava-two, Mukachevo - two).
About five thousand homes were left without electricity as a consequence of the fall of trees that damaged the way electricity. Currently, repair work is carried out to cut trees and restore light in the area.
In addition, rescuers were forced to tow more than 40 cars, which were threatened with drowning.
