The incident occurred on one of the highways in the suburbs of Los Angeles. The man himself was evacuated from his house, as the region of 36 hectares covered a fire that already got its name - "Thomas".

While the American was driving past a forest area, he noticed a rabbit who could not leave his shelter and would most likely have died if the brave man did not get close to him and would not have pulled him out of the fire.

Several attempts were made to pull out the frightened animal, the fire began to come close to the man's car, but from the fourth time he succeeded. Due to strong winds that help spread the flame, in several areas forced evacuation.
