The lawyer of Elena Zaitseva, who is involved in the case of a fatal accident in the center of Kharkov, Julia Kozyr, said that the examination showed a violation of the rules by both drivers: Zaitseva, and the driver of Volkswagen Touareg Gennady Dronov.

The lawyer told this in a commentary to the Ukrainian Truth.

"An examination was carried out in the case, which determined that the rules of the road were violated by both drivers," she said..

The trump card added that Zaitseva continues to be in jail.

According to the lawyer, Zaitseva participated in two or three interrogations and in an investigative experiment involving both participants of an accident.

She predicts that the investigative actions will end before the end of the year.

Recall that on October 18 in Sumskaya Street in the center of Kharkov, the Lexus SUV after a collision with Volkswagen threw a pedestrian into the crowd, resulting in the death of six people, another five injured.

At the scene of the accident, 20-year-old Elena Zaitseva, who was behind the wheel of the Lexus.

According to preliminary data, she drove to the prohibitory traffic signal. Dronov was driving a Volkswagen.

On October 20, the Kyiv District Court of Kharkiv arrested Elena Zaitseva for two months without the right to make a pledge.

On November 8, the Kyiv District Court of Kharkiv arrested Gennady Dronov for two months. At first he passed on business as a witness, but later the court refused to recognize him as a victim, and then retrained into a suspect.
