As noted, the pirates recently kidnapped a citizen of Ukraine and another 5 members of the crew of the ship Demeter, but as of November 13, they were released.

In particular, it became possible due to the coordinated actions of the shipping company, security services and diplomats.

Recall, as previously reported, "URA-Inform, pirates on boats intercepted the vessel in the waters of Nigeria, all eight kidnappers were armed. As a result, six crew members were captured, including the captain of the ship. Pirates demand ransom, but the amount of payment is not specified.
