Dronov's lawyer, Sergei Perepelitsa, said the judge's challenge - he believes that protection is limited. He asked to interrogate a witness (a passenger of Volkswagen), to whom the charge indicated in the petition, but the court refused.

"During the court session, we became aware of circumstances that cast doubt on the impartiality of the judge. As we are equal in the process, we were asked to interrogate a witness who can really refute the arguments contained in the petition for choosing a preventive measure, but this petition was not granted - unreasonably.
