The incident occurred at the entrance to the city, located near the Golan Heights, which are partially controlled by Syrian government forces. The suicide agent activated the detonator on one of the crowded parts of the city's traffic area. The explosion killed about six people, more than 20 received serious injuries.
Among the victims are only civilians, there are no military or police officers among them. Earlier, a similar incident occurred in the Afghan capital in Kabul, where the suicide bomber attacked the government quarter.
