As reported by the Voznesensky District Police Department, the traffic accident occurred on the Mikhailovka-Nikolaev highway about four o'clock in the morning. The driver of the semitrailer truck MAN noticed in the rear-view mirror the lights of a car approaching from behind.

He increased the speed and took to the right, up to the roadside. However, the collision could not be avoided - the semitrailer MAN hit the DAF truck tractor at full speed.

As a result of the accident, the DAF driver died on the spot, the MAN driver did not suffer.

The police assume that the DAF driver fell asleep at the wheel.

Recall, as reported URA-Inform, near the village of Lyudavka in Vinnytsia region there was a traffic accident, resulting in the death of two people, three more were seriously injured. As law enforcement officials found out, the driver of the BMW car failed to manage, drove to the oncoming traffic lane, where it collided with a Ford car.
