On the night of November 1, the occupation services located on the territory of the annexed Crimea completely stopped the movement of vehicles and pedestrians through the administrative border between the peninsula and the mainland Ukraine.

According to the State Border Service of Ukraine, transport is not allowed from both the Crimea and the Ukrainian side.

Ukrainian border guards say that nothing is known about the reasons for such a decision.

The department also added that due to the low passenger-traffic flow at checkpoints there are no queues.

Citizens are asked to take this information into account and refuse to travel.
