Upon the arrival of the first fire and rescue unit, reconnaissance was organized, which showed that on the first floor an apartment is burning on the entire area of ??40 square meters. Entrance doors were open, so the staircase formed a dense smoke, especially in the upper part. It really threatened the lives of residents of the apartments of the entire entrance, the rescuers note.

Given these circumstances, the head of fire extinguishing immediately organized measures to save people. The first rescuers found two people who were unconscious on the steps between the 4th and 5th floors: a woman, born in 1993, and her four-year-old daughter. They were immediately taken to fresh air and passed to ambulance doctors. Unfortunately, the doctors stated the death of the child, and the mother with a strong poisoning with carbon monoxide was hospitalized in the Kharkov Regional Clinical Hospital.

As the forces and resources were built up, fire extinguishing, smoke removal and evacuation and rescue measures were organized. In total, rescuers managed to carry 8 people in their hands, another 20 residents were evacuated under supervision.

At 7:50 the fire is localized, now measures are being taken for final elimination. Five firefighters, 20 rescuers, and 4 volunteers take part in the fire extinguishing.
