The sudden replacement of the transformer box in the center of the Ural capital paralyzed traffic at the intersection of Lenin Avenue and Pushkin Street. The traffic lights stopped working on the site, which led to unregulated traffic and pedestrian crossings.
According to eyewitnesses, the workers started repairs on the dismantling and installation of the transformer about an hour and a half ago, then the traffic lights. During this time, a small traffic jam formed at the intersection, the reason for which was the absence of an operator.
JustMedia correspondent explained that the work will stop within an hour. The workers could not comment on the lack of interaction with the state traffic police.
