According to the department, in Guanajuato five people were killed in a local bar, seven more people were found dead in two different places in the western state of Michoacan.
It is reported that all the dead belonged to drug cartels involved in kidnapping, robbery and extortion. The state itself is one of the most criminal in Mexico.
The level of murders in Guanajuato over the past year increased by 37 percent.
In the country there are regular clashes between gangs and cartels. Over the past year in these shootings killed 14,909 people.
Criminal proceedings have been instituted against all of them, however, it is not often possible to punish all those guilty.
As reported in the "URA-Inform", recently in the tourist part of Mexico, the terrorists attacked people who walked along the beach.
