The clash between illegal amber miners, foresters and policemen occurred on September 7, near the village of Belskaya Volya, the Vladimiretsky district of the Rivne region. This was reported by the press service of the regional police, transmits the Main.

The conflict arose when for about 15 hours foresters on tractors went to the territory of the reserve in order to eliminate the consequences of the erosion of the ground and to fill the pits in places of illegal mining of amber. About 40 prospectors tried to prevent them by blocking traffic.

To help foresters called the police. But in the village of Belskaya Volya law enforcers blocked the road for about 150 local residents. They started throwing stones at the police. In this regard, the police opened fire with rubber bullets and used cannula with tear gas.

At 17 o'clock the conflict was exhausted. As a result of the riots, no one was hurt.

On the fact of the incident, a pre-trial investigation was started in criminal proceedings under part 2 of Article 342 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (Resistance to a law enforcement officer during his official duties, a member of the public order for the protection of public order and the state border or serviceman during the performance of these duties for the protection of public order).
