In Pervouralsk, a drunken driver kicked a patrol car's windshield

On the night from Tuesday to Wednesday in Pervouralsk, traffic police inspectors detained a drunken offender who resisted and damaged the patrol car.

The incident occurred on September 6 at about 02:00. The detachment of the traffic police noticed a VAZ-2110 car, which was driven along Pervouralsk with a high-beam headlight. The demands of the police stopped, he ignored, and the pursuit began. However, traffic cops quickly caught up with the offender.

Driving a "dozen" was a drunk 30-year-old resident of Degtyarsk. He did not have any documents with him, in addition, during the detention he started kicking a patrol car, as a result of which he crushed the wing and smashed the windshield. The violent driver was handcuffed and taken to the police station.

The police found that the driver had never received a driver's license, but already several times got drunk at the wheel, for which he was arrested on four occasions for 10 to 15 days. In addition, the man was previously convicted - in 2005 he was sentenced to four years in prison for committing a robbery.

The offender was detained for not fulfilling the lawful requirements of a police officer (art.. 19.

3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation) and is kept in the premises for detainees of the duty department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the city of Pervouralsk. The sanction of this article provides for arrest for a period of up to fifteen days. The issue of initiating a criminal case provided for in Article 264. 1 of the Criminal Code (violation of traffic rules by a person subjected to administrative punishment). The sanction of the article provides for up to two years of imprisonment.
