The work to eliminate fires in these territories continues. According to the Georgian media, over the past two days alone, more than 70 hectares of the area have been burned in the vicinity of the village of Artana in Telavi municipality.

It's about the forest and shrubbery. At the same time, the fire destroyed about a hectare of forest near the village of Shilda in the Kvareli municipality and more than ten hectares of forest in the Tusheti mountain region.

In turn, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia notes that at the moment the fire near the village of Shilda has already been localized. However, last night, several small fires were recorded, in particular, the burning of dry grass and shrubs, in Tbilisi.

The largest fire occurred last week in the Borjomi Gorge, where, according to representatives of the Georgian authorities, up to a hundred hectares of forest.
