As reported by Russian media, in connection with the fire, the emergency situation was first announced in the city, and then the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry extended it to the entire territory of the Rostov Region.

According to the governor of the region Vasily Golubev, by night firemen with the help of aviation liquidated the open burning in the residential sector. Now along the entire perimeter of the territory there is a spill that lasted all night.

At the moment, open burning is no longer there, he explained, adding that the causes of the fire have not yet been established, but in advance - the fire began in abandoned houses that are not suitable for living.
