In Lviv airport, a woman was detained for trafficking in human beings

As law enforcers found out, a 30-year-old resident of the Lviv region tried to send another Ukrainian citizen across the state border for the purpose of further use of her in the sphere of providing intimate services in the territory of the Republic of Turkey.



By the way, the malefactor regularly recruited young girls and sent them to Turkey for the purpose of sexual exploitation.

This resolves the issue of detaining an intruder in the order of. 208 Code of Criminal Procedure of Ukraine. At the moment, a woman faces up to eight years in prison.

Recall, as previously reported, "URA-Inform", the special envoy of the OSCE on combating human trafficking Madina Yarbussinova reported on the increase in the number of citizens of Ukraine that were victims of human trafficking.
