The hostages were captured in the building, which is used by the Dutch radio station 3FM, transmits SBS.

Initially, the assailant threatened the couple from the outside, and then went into the building and took hostage to a radio station worker.

Police surrounded the building, on site special forces. Employees of the law enforcement bodies found the bag and knife of the attacker.

Police detained the attacking man, the woman was not injured.

Despite the incident, the radio worked without interruption.
