This is reported by El Nacional.

According to the publication, the incident happened at the station "Plaza Venezuela" in the center of the city.

At the same time, the subway was told that the reason for the evacuation of passengers was a faulty train.

Note that as a result of the explosion, the trains stopped for a few minutes.

At the moment there was no information on the victims.

Recall, as previously reported, "URA-Inform", in London, urgently evacuated people from the metro station Oxford Circus. Also, witnesses reported the smell of burned plastic. Passengers who were at the scene noted that the smoke filled all the cars. Since the entire metro line is closed, people were encouraged to choose alternative routes.
