In the sewage pit a teenager discovered a baby. Local residents independently rescued the baby from the pit and called for an ambulance, and also reported to the police.

The police opened criminal proceedings on the fact of deliberate killing of the child in part 2 of Article 15, part 1 of Article 117 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
