In Germany, one of the local residents for a mosquito bite had to pay off with both lower limbs. Neither the 43-year-old victim herself nor her relatives are still able to understand how it turned out that the usual mosquito bite was so fatal.

The incident occurred in the city of Cologne in March, but it is known about it was only now. Everything happened at a time when a woman who works as a cleaner took out a garbage collected in a bucket. It is at this point that she thinks. It seemed to her that a mosquito had sat on her and bit her in the shin, according to Die Welt.

As the victim admitted, in a few minutes her leg was swollen. Soon after, the victim got fever. The woman in a panic phoned her husband, he came for her and immediately took him to the nearest clinic.

The doctors examined the victim and injected her with anesthetic, after which her condition improved, and she was discharged for treatment as an outpatient. Almost immediately upon arrival home, the woman's condition deteriorated sharply, and she had to return to the clinic.

Several hours of intensive care did not yield tangible results. Pain only intensified. Bolgna fell into a coma and spent a week unconscious.

During this time, her legs and part of her left hand.

Currently, the victim is on the mend. Ironically, the victim quickly resigned herself to her current state. "At least I'm alive. This is a great victory, "- said a resident of Cologne.

As a result of the consultation, the doctors established an epicrisis of what happened: a mosquito brought the cleaners under the skin of dangerous bacteria, which caused the patient to start sepsis, which led to such irreversible consequences.
