As reported in the SBU, a resident of Slavyansk joined the militants in April 2014. There he witnessed the looting and violence of bandits against local residents. Disappointed in the ideals of the "Russian world", the man left the gang.

After that, the former militant could use the SBU program "You are waiting at home" and be released from criminal liability, but he was hiding from law enforcement agencies, first in the territory of Ordlo, and then in his hometown where he was detained.

Now urgent investigative actions are continuing in the framework of the criminal procedure for part 2 of Article 260 (the creation of illegal armed groups or participation in their activities) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
