The Ministry of Energy explained that the protection of the power grid was working, because of which five air high-voltage lines also stopped working. This "Bureyskaya HPP - Amurskaya", "Bureyskaya HPP - Khabarovskaya", "Amurskaya - Heihe", "Khabarovsk - Volochaevka traction" and "Khabarovsk - Left Bank".
As a result, without light there were 500 thousand people - residents of settlements of the Khabarovsk Territory and the Amur Region.
