Prosecutor's Office of Cherkasy region informs that the prosecutor's office opened criminal proceedings on the fact of illegal manufacture of alcoholic beverages. At the moment investigators of the Investigation Department of Financial Investigations of the Main Directorate of the State Fiscal Service in Cherkasy region are conducting pre-trial investigation.

Alcohol, manufactured autocratically on alcohol, may well pose a threat to life and health of people. During the search, more than 2000 liters of illegally produced alcohol were confiscated, as well as 1125 liters of alcohol, a car and equipment on which alcohol was driven.

Recall, as reported URA-Inform, in Kiev, the police liquidated a warehouse of counterfeit alcohol in the amount of almost five million hryvnia.
