A two-year-old girl has discovered a mercury thermometer. This was told in the reception department of the Rivne Regional Children's Hospital. The mother prompted her child when she saw in her hands a broken mercury thermometer.

In the hospital, the child was subjected to a series of studies. No trauma was found in the esophagus. There were no foreign objects in the oral cavity and esophagus.

"There are no threats to the life of the child. A drop of mercury still got into the body, but it will come out naturally, like a metal ball, "- noted the head physician of the hospital Lyubov Filyk.
