As a result of the road accident, four people were killed. As reported by the press service of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the region, the accident occurred on the highway between the villages of Petrik and Dashkovtsi in the Litinsky district about three o'clock in the morning.

Arriving at the scene the police found that the driver of the car VAZ did not cope with the control, went to the oncoming lane, where his car collided with a foreign car. At the scene of the accident, a 23-year-old driver of a VAZ car and two of his passengers aged 23 and 31 died.

In addition, the 55-year-old passenger "Mercedes" was killed, and the 60-year-old driver was seriously injured in the hospital. Now the investigator has appointed a number of examinations to determine the reasons for traveling to the oncoming lane, including, it will be found out whether the drivers were in a state of intoxication.

Police opened on this fact a criminal case under the article of the Criminal Code of Ukraine Violation of the rules of road safety or the operation of transport by persons who caused the death of several persons.

The culprit of the tragedy is threatened with imprisonment for up to ten years, with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for up to three years.
