In Chechnya, on the night of January 26, 2017, there was a mass execution, the victims of which were 27 people. This is reported by Novaya Gazeta.

"In all, at the moment we already know about 27 allegedly killed, although, according to our information, we can talk about 56 residents of Chechnya. All these people were detained at different times. However, the date of death, according to our information, all these people - one. Night from 25 to 26 January, "- said in a statement.

They did not draw up official protocols and did not file charges. Instead, they were placed in "cellars and ancillary premises of the police departments".

A source in the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Chechnya handed over the list of residents of the republic, who were detained in January.

Most of the people, according to the list, were detained in the village of Shali - 28 people.

"All attempts to learn anything about the fate of these people stumbled upon the incredible fear of our interlocutors. One of them, an employee of the Shali town administration, panickedly refused to get acquainted with the surnames of the cholines we established, and said: "All those detained in Shali in January - they are no more. Do not look, "- said the publication.
