The Moscow prosecutor's office suspects of corruption crimes. As the press secretary of the prosecutor's office Nadezhda Maksimets reported on her social network page, the trial lasted almost ten hours.

As a result of the court session, the head of the land department of "Ukrzaliznytsya" was given a preventive measure in the form of custody for a period of two months with an alternative in the form of a pledge of 3.8 million hryvnia.

His accomplice, deputy legal department of "Ukrzaliznytsya", was elected a preventive measure in the form of custody for the same period with the possibility of making a deposit of 3.2 million hryvnia.

At the same time, both suspects were removed from their posts, Maksimets said, adding that officials were detained on July 6 on suspicion of accepting a proposal from the director of a commercial enterprise for facilitating the conclusion of a lease agreement for nine hectares of land.

They estimated their services at 150 thousand dollars.
