In Kiev, a car was blown up. At the wheel of the Mercedes was the head of Ukrainian intelligence Maxim Shapoval. He was identified by the documents in the car. Law enforcers classified the incident as an act of terrorism.

PE occurred in the Solomenskiy district of the Ukrainian capital in the morning, June 27. The driver died on the spot. Together with him, in the car was an elderly man. He did not hurt.

Presumably, the explosives were laid in the "Mercedes" itself.

According to preliminary information, the soldier of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Maxim Shapoval, who headed the Intelligence Department. In the burned-out car they found documents for this name, Ukrainian Pravda reported, citing a source in the security department of Nezalezhnaya.

After the information was confirmed by the head of the communication department of the National Police Oksana Blyshchik.

Blischik added that after a state of emergency for help, a 26-year-old girl turned to the doctors, who injured her legs with splinters.
